Pursuant to Article 10 of the Spanish Act 34/2002, of 11 July, on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce, it is affirmed that Araclon Biotech, S.L., with Tax Identification Number B50998707, and registered in the Trade Register of Zaragoza in Volume 3030, folio 173, sheet Z-35111, is located at Paseo Independencia, nÂș30 2ÂșA, 50004 ZARAGOZA.

PRIVACY POLICY

By means of this notice, ARACLON BIOTECH S.L. (hereinafter “Araclon”) informs users of the www.araclon.com website, (hereinafter “Website”), about its Privacy Policy, so that they may decide freely and voluntarily if they wish to supply Araclon with personal data which may be requested on the Website.

Araclon reserves the right to modify its Privacy Policy according to its criteria, or as a result of legislative or legal change, or a change in company practice. Such modifications will be publicly available on the Website for users to read. In any case, the relationship with users will be governed by the rules in place at the time of accessing the Website.

In accordance with the provisions of Article 5 of the Spanish Organic Law 15/1999, of 13 December, on the Protection of Personal Data, you are hereby advised of the following:

a) Existence and Ownership of File

The personal data that you provide us with, whether via an online form, by email, or by post, will be subject to automatic treatment and be incorporated into a file. This file will be the responsibility and property of Araclon Biotech S.L., a Spanish company, and owner of the www.araclon.com website, whose registered offices are at Paseo Independencia, nÂș30 2ÂșA 50004 ZARAGOZA and whose email address is info@araclon.com.

Specifically, your data will be included in a file called Araclon Biotech and will be duly registered with the Spanish Data Protection Agency.

A ‘User’ is defined as anyone who browses and uses this Website, thereby accepting the conditions of this legal notice.

By sending forms via the Website, the User gives their express and unequivocal consent to the automatic treatment of their personal data in accordance with this Policy.

b) The fundamental purpose of the collection and treatment of data, for information and restricted use, is:

  • Receipt of curriculum vitae: the creation of a Job Bank, which facilitates staff selection at Araclon or in Viamed Salud Group companies.
  • In the case of data provided by means of a job application form: the creation of a Job Bank, which facilitates staff selection at Araclon or in Viamed Salud Group companies.

c) Data recipients and transfer of data

Sending curriculum vitae implies the User’s express consent to the transfer of their personal data contained in the automatic file to companies within the Viamed Salud Group, for the same purposes as those specified for the collection of personal data by Araclon, in relation to their respective products and services.

The User can oppose all or some of the above transfers at any time, and can exercise this right by writing to the address or email stated below.

The User will be given prior notification of any other transfer of their personal data to third parties in the personal data collection forms, as well as the identification of the company passing on this data, and said third party, their business activity and the purpose of transfer.

Regarding data transfer to third parties in foreign countries, Araclon Biotech will ensure, where appropriate, complete confidentiality and secure treatment of personal data in international movements deriving from these transfers. This means complying with current legislation, providing clear communication and, if necessary, requesting appropriate authorization from the Director of the Spanish Data Protection Agency.

d) Obligatory or voluntary nature of responses and the consequences of obtaining the data or its refusal.

In the forms on the Website, completion of fields marked with an asterisk is obligatory and is deemed necessary in order to provide the service. If these fields are not filled in, Araclon may be unable to provide the User with the service offered on the Website.

With regards to fields not marked by an asterisk, responses regarding personal data are voluntary. However, failure to provide these responses may mean reduced quantity or quality of corresponding services.

e) Access, rectification, cancellation and opposition rights.

The User, and anyone representing them, may exercise their access, rectification, cancellation or opposition rights, in accordance with the Spanish Organic Law 15/1999, of 13 December, on the Protection of Personal Data, and other applicable regulations, by submitting a signed written request to:

This request must contain the following information: the User’s full name and address for notification purposes, a photocopy of their National Identity Document or Passport, and full details of the request. The same documentation will be required if the User presents timsels at the company’s offices.

The right to access personal data can be exercised on an annual basis, subject to proven legitimate interest. Once your identity has been verified, Araclon will notify you of their decision within a period of one month. If it is affirmative, you will be able to access the information about you in our files within a period of 10 days following notification, in the manner indicated.

The rights of rectification and cancellation can be exercised whenever you consider your personal details included in our files to be inaccurate, incomplete, inadequate or excessive. Once your identity has been verified, Araclon will proceed with the rectification or cancellation of the data within 10 days of receiving your request.

f) Use of cookies:

Araclon informs the user, by means of this notice, that cookies are used when the user navigates around the various pages of the Website.

Cookies are small data files that are generated by the server and install themselves on the user's computer and are used to identify the user’s session, and to record information such as the user's data, identification and password, and browser.

The cookies used are only associate with the browser of a specific computer (anonymous User), and therefore do not provide the name of the User. The use of cookies makes it possible for Araclon to recognize the browsers of registered Users after they have registered for the first time, meaning they do not have to register again each time they access the areas and services reserved exclusively for them.

The User can configure their browser so that they receive a message on their screen informing them when cookies are being used and can also decide not to allow cookies to be installed on their hard disk. However, the company will not be held responsible if the disabling or rejection of cookies impairs the smooth functioning of the Site. To use the Portal, it is not necessary for the User to accept cookies sent by Araclon Biotech to be installed. However, if the cookies are disabled the page may not function correctly and the Users will need to identify themselves each time they try to access a protected page.

Our server activates the cookies used on the Website.

The validity period of a cookie lasts for the duration of the User’s session, this being from the time the User enters the Site to the time they leave it, or for a standard period if there is no activity.

g) Security measures

Araclon Biotech has adopted the security standards for the protection of personal data as required by law, and has taken technical and organizational measures in accordance with Royal Decree 994/1999, approving the regulation of security measures for automatic filing systems that contain personal data. It has implemented all procedures and technical measures possible to avoid the loss, misuse, alteration, unauthorized access and theft of data provided on the Site. However, the User must be aware that Internet security measures are not infallible.

h) Responsibility for treatment of data

Araclon Biotech has signed a contract with companies with which it has agreed some form of personal data treatment, governing its use and confidentiality.

ARACLON BIOTECH S.L. is not responsible for any opinions or services of third parties, nor their use by third parties that are hosted on its Website. Neither is it responsible for any loss or damage whatsoever that may arise from the lack of availability or continuity of the Website or any disruption in service, although the company guarantees the User that it will do its utmost to ensure the correct functioning of the Site.

k) Intellectual and industrial property

All information, and its graphical representation on the Website, is the property of their respective owners or authors. Use of this information is therefore prohibited in accordance with current legislation on intellectual and industrial property.

l) The Website, its content, and this legal notice, are governed by Spanish legislation, the interpretation of which is subject to the jurisdiction of the Spanish courts and tribunals, responsible for settling any disputes that may arise in connection to same.
